Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Sr. Digital Media Producer with strong agency‑level judgment to lead high‑impact video and photo productions from concept through delivery. This role is ideal for a seasoned producer who can confidently lead vendors, evaluate scopes and quotes, and ensure production costs are reasonable, transparent, and aligned with expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead photo and video productions end‑to‑end, including pre‑production, production, post‑production, and delivery.
Organize and coordinate talent and crews, including cameras, audio, lighting, call sheets, shot lists, and production communications.
Facilitate creative brainstorming sessions for multimedia initiatives.
Schedule and conduct pre‑interviews and talent scouting.
Manage all pre‑production logistics, including equipment, props, production essentials, and location or studio preparation.
Oversee on‑set operations and ensure smooth execution with stakeholders and crews.
Lead vendor kickoffs, pre‑production meetings, and on‑set vendor coordination.
Manage third‑party vendors directly, ensuring contract compliance, scope alignment, deliverables, and timelines.
Evaluate vendor scopes of work, quotes, and contracts to ensure pricing and scope are appropriate.
Apply production judgment to recommend rescoping, rebidding, or alternative production approaches when needed.
Track and report production spend using dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to ensure cost transparency.
Escalate cost or scope concerns early to support informed leadership decisions.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource strategies aligned with business objectives.
Provide regular updates and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Research emerging production technologies and industry trends and recommend solutions aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience producing video and photo content in an agency or in‑house environment.
Proven ability to lead productions end‑to‑end with strong operational and creative judgment.
Strong experience managing and leading external vendors.
Demonstrated capability evaluating scopes, quotes, contracts, and change requests.
Expert judgment around production costs, including knowing what something should cost based on experience.
Advanced skills in project planning, scheduling, and production tracking.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and tight deadlines.
Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams.
Excellent communication skills and executive‑level professionalism.
Flexibility and composure in fast‑paced production environments.
Preferred
Familiarity with pre‑ and post‑production software.
Experience with video teleconferencing platforms.
Skilled in conducting interviews with on‑camera talent.
Background in videography, sound production, or non‑linear editing.
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed.
Occasional travel may be required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation
The pay rate for this position is between $70 and $84.55 per hour, contingent on experience and other factors.
