Launch Your Design Career in a Hands-On Creative Role

AlphaGraphics is hiring an Entry-Level Graphic Designer / Print Production Technician to join our fast-paced, hands-on team. This role is ideal for a recent Graphic Design graduate or early-career designer who wants to build real-world experience in both design/prepress and print production. You’ll use Adobe Creative Suite, prepare customer files for production, operate digital print equipment, and help bring a wide variety of projects to life. If you’re detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited by creative work that turns into finished products, we’d love to hear from you.

AlphaGraphics is a fast-paced, family-oriented marketing services, print and sign company where every day brings something different. We produce marketing services, signs, event graphics, business printing, and promotional products that help our customers bring their ideas to life.

We’re looking for a recent Graphic Design graduate, or an early-career designer with a strong portfolio, who wants more than a traditional entry-level design job. This role offers the chance to build real-world experience in both design/prepress and print production — making it a great fit for someone who enjoys creative problem-solving and hands-on work.

If you want to sharpen your Adobe skills, learn how files move from concept to finished product, and grow in a supportive team environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll split your time between design/prepress work and hands-on print production.

Review customer artwork and identify file issues before production

Correct, adjust, and prepare files for print output

Create proofs and production-ready layouts for signs, print materials, graphics, and promotional products

Help ensure jobs move smoothly from design concept to final production

Print Production Responsibilities

Operate commercial digital printers for color and black-and-white jobs

Use finishing equipment such as cutters, laminators, and bindery tools

Perform basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and color calibration

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

Package completed jobs and prepare orders for delivery or shipping

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred

Associate degree in Graphic Design considered with a strong portfolio

Portfolio required for consideration

Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and resourceful approach to problem-solving

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Why Join AlphaGraphics?

Gain real-world experience in both creative design and print production

Build practical skills that make you more versatile and valuable than a typical entry-level designer

Work on a wide variety of projects — no two days are the same

Join a supportive, team-oriented environment where your contributions matter

Grow into future opportunities such as Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or other print/sign industry roles
