Senior Pricing Analyst (Contract) – Promotional Pricing Strategy

Role Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Pricing Analyst
to support promotional pricing strategy and execution across digital and online retail channels. This role will partner closely with the broader Pricing and Merchandising teams to ensure promotional pricing is competitive, accurate, and aligned with overall business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, experience working with large datasets, and familiarity with pricing strategy in a retail or eCommerce environment. This individual will play a key role in shaping how promotions are structured, executed, and evaluated.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of
promotional pricing strategies
across online channels
Analyze
competitor promotional activity and price matching trends
to inform pricing decisions
Assist in building and maintaining
strikethrough pricing strategies
that drive conversion while ensuring compliance
Configure and manage
promotional rules and pricing logic
within internal systems
Develop and maintain
performance dashboards
to track promotional effectiveness, including lift, margin impact, and conversion metrics
Partner cross-functionally with Pricing, Merchandising, Marketing, and Digital teams to ensure alignment on promotional initiatives
Identify opportunities to
optimize pricing strategies
through data analysis and testing
Ensure accuracy and consistency of pricing data across platforms
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in
pricing, analytics, or a related field
(retail/eCommerce preferred)
Strong proficiency in
SQL and/or Google BigQuery (GBQ)
Advanced
Excel
skills (data manipulation, modeling, analysis)
Experience building and using dashboards in
Tableau
or similar BI tools
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong
communication and collaboration
skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
retail or eCommerce pricing strategy , particularly promotions
Exposure to
Python
for data analysis or automation
Familiarity with
AI or automation tools
to enhance pricing workflows
Demonstrated ability to present insights with
executive presence
