Route Sales Drivers are responsible for providing excellent service to our customers by building strong customer relationships and ensuring efficient parts delivery fulfillment on a designated delivery route. The position focuses on the safe and efficient delivery of parts while concentrating on positive customer engagement, issue resolution, and growth. Join our Spokane, WA parts team! This route covers the area west of Spokane.

Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. (GTC) has been helping customers satisfy their transportation needs since 1986. As an expanded network of 19 dealerships, we operate under the brands Gordon Truck Centers, Freightliner Northwest, Western Star Northwest, TrailerCraft, Western Mountain Bus, and Freightliner of Hawaii. We sell, finance, insure, and service commercial trucks for medium and heavy‑duty applications.

Essential Job Functions

Efficient parts delivery to customers on a designated route utilizing a delivery vehicle.

Responsible for sales activities that build strong customer relationships on a designated route:

Field order processing

Issue resolution

Customer training

Transitioning customers to Excelerator ordering

Management of vendor inventory programs

Growth

Proficient use of tools and technology including dispatch systems, tablets, phones, and our customer relationship management tool.

Other duties as assigned, such as shipping, receiving, and general warehouse work.

Job Requirements, Education, and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Must have a valid driver’s license, be insurable, and have a clean driving record. Ability to speak Spanish and English is preferred.

Skills: Ability to drive Sprinter vans and pick‑ups; ability to type and use a computer tablet or keyboard; ability to send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.

Job Conditions
Physical Demands

– Requires repetitive bending, frequent lifting up to or in excess of 75 lbs., sitting, standing, reaching, crawling, and stretching. Must be able to use both hands and feet to operate vehicles.

Environmental Demands

– Mostly indoor and outdoor in seasonal weather conditions. Some noise while working around operation departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Use of company‑provided personal protective equipment may be required.

Dash Camera

– For insurability and safety purposes, GTC uses front and rear‑facing dash cameras in all company vehicles.

Hours

– Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

Compensation

– $22 to $25 per hour. Eligible for incentive.
