Hybrid, NY based (option for in-office NY working or fully remote)

$170k - $210k (depending on experience) + stock options

Talentedge are proud to be exclusively partnering with a category-defining SaaS scaleup on building their US Accounting function from scratch (building from our successful partnership in London), as they move towards IPO-readiness.

This is to be the second hire in the US, underneath an Assistant Controller whom we’ve recently placed. The US Accounting function will work very closely with the Global Accounting & Finance function.

In what is a newly created role owing to explosive growth, you will have complete ownership over revenue recognition according to ASC 606, driving the monthly and annual revenue close process as well as partnering cross functionally.

Key responsibilities

Build fully-scalable and automation-led processes and controls

Have complete ownership over revenue recognition according to ASC 606

Led the revenue close

Partner cross functionally in relation to contract review and structuring, with a particular focus on Sales, Legal and Billing

Candidate profile

Active CPA (Strong preference for Big 4)

Significant experience on partnering with Commercial / Sales / Legal teams on new and renewal contract reviews

Hyper-growth late stage scaleup experience (preferably pre-IPO)

Strong ASC 606 grounding

SaaS and usage/consumption based revenue models

Experienced with building automation-first processes and controls

Established and credible business partner who is able to advise, challenge and influence

Ability to work autonomously and independently
