Leasing Consultant – responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of a property.
Key Responsibilities
Property leasing and administration
Regular/daily onsite attendance required
Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign leases
Close sales: generate new leads, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up as needed
Complete all leasing paperwork before move-in
Assist with lease audits, walk-throughs, and the turn process
Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to leads within 24 hours
Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic and meet leasing goals
Perform administrative tasks as needed
Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction
Assist in developing resident retention programs (e.g., events, promotions, monthly newsletter)
Contribute to general upkeep of office, common areas, and model
Marketing and outreach: assist in implementing annual marketing plan and market analysis
Maintain knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market surveys
Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround
Project a favorable image of the community and enforce policies as delegated
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
Physical Requirements
Regularly move about to accomplish tasks and communicate with others
Occasionally ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and operate in various environments; lift or move up to 25 lbs
Occasionally work overtime, weekends, or night hours; work in extreme temperatures and outdoor environments
Salary Range: $16 per hour to $19 per hour
