Core daily responsibilities
Assist in the inspection of incoming shipments by checking the quantity and quality of items received against invoices, purchase orders, and specifications; logs items received on appropriate inventory control documents using an on-line computerized parts system.
Receive, unpack and store items received.
Receive work orders; prepare requisitions as directed; record and file requisitions using an on-line computerized parts system.
Issue items from stock in accordance with prescribed methods.
Drive vehicle to pick up and deliver tools, materials and equipment parts.
Operate equipment such as a forklift or overhead crane to move heavy materials.
Operate a County radio and office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine and computer.
Qualifications
Any experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
A resume and cover letter are required for this position.
A valid driver’s license is required.
