What Will You Do Toyota Insurance is looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent to work in our Longo Toyota dealership, located in El Monte, California. You will be responsible for prospecting new customers for home, auto, and other personal line products as well as meeting with referral contacts to generate new business in our illustrious dealership. As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you will service our Point of Sales customers in the dealership.
Essential Job Functions
Assess client’s unique situations and recommend insurance plans that provide optimal protection.
Leverage our proven approach to ensure clients not only get the right coverage but also experience exceptional service throughout the process.
Actively connect with current and potential clients, fostering trust and loyalty through clear communication and follow‑up.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless experience for everyone as part of the dealership’s full‑service commitment.
Proactively seek out new opportunities through phone outreach, networking, and other lead generation strategies.
Required Education And Experience
Valid California Property & Casualty insurance license.
Minimum of 4 years of insurance sales experience.
Proficiency in Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin.
High School Graduate; college degree preferred but not required.
Effective communication skills to interact with others, cooperate purposefully, and provide information and guidance to achieve business goals.

Compensation $54,000‑$100,000+ on skills and sales experience (base salary of $54,000 with an uncapped commission structure. Top performers can earn total compensation package of $100,000 or more).
Position Type / Expected Hours Of Work Onsite: 11:00 AM‑8:00 PM, five days per week including Saturdays.
Location: 3530 Peck Road, El Monte, California 91731
Work Environment General office/retail environment in automotive dealership.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 6‑8 hours per day).
Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse with repetitive hand/wrist motions.
Visual acuity sufficient to read documents and computer screens for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 10‑15 pounds occasionally.
Ability to walk intermittently on various surfaces including concrete, asphalt, gravel, and potentially uneven terrain.
Hearing sufficient to participate in phone calls, meetings and interaction with customers.
Ability to reach, bend, and twist occasionally to access equipment (printer).
Stamina to maintain energy and professional demeanor during long days up to 8‑10 hours.
