Job Description
Capital Markets contains three main areas: loan pricing, rate locking, and profitability analysis. The group works with the Production & Underwriting team and is responsible for pricing all the loans purchased by Fannie Mae, Ginnie Mae, and Freddie Mac. The team is also responsible for managing relationships with bond investors and bankers in marketing and executing transactions. Finally, the team manages the profitability on a deal‑by‑deal basis, performs production analysis and provides intel to the management team sales staff regarding competition and the market. The Agency Multifamily Capital Markets team is seeking an associate to support the group with a variety of tasks including pricing of all offered Agency Multifamily products, executing Agency CMBS trades, developing & maintaining reports, and conducting industry & market research.
General Responsibilities
Basic understanding of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and Ginnie Mae Multifamily mortgage products and the broader mortgage finance industry
Basic understanding of Agency CMBS or other Fixed Income Securities
Produce and distribute Agency Multifamily Rate Sheets to Production and Underwriting staff on a daily basis, including market commentary, as needed
Demonstrate the ability around the creation and maintenance of front‑end reporting requirements
Ability to effectively communicate across various levels and departments within the company to ensure issues are identified, resolved and communicated in a timely manner
Develop and maintain Capital Markets Policies and Procedures
General Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 3 years of experience in Agency Finance, Securitized Products, or in Capital Markets
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
5+ years of Agency Finance experience

Charlotte, NC: $119,400 - $136,200 for Principal Associate, AM‑FF Capital Markets
McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Principal Associate, AM‑FF Capital Markets
New York, NY: $143,200 - $163,500 for Principal Associate, AM‑FF Capital Markets
