Your day at NTT DATA
The Sales Manager, Cloud and Security GTM is a high‑impact sales leadership role responsible for driving the growth, strategy, and P&L of our North American specialty sales team. This leader will orchestrate the transition from traditional IT outsourcing to the next generation of managed services—leveraging NTT DATA’s Agentic AI workforce and Unified Platform to deliver leaner, high‑performance operations for global clients.

You will lead a team of specialty sales designing complex, end‑to‑end private and public cloud solutions across a world‑class partner ecosystem including Microsoft (Azure), AWS, Google Cloud, Palo Alto, Cisco, Rubrik, SAP, Oracle, and IBM.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership & P&L Ownership
Lead the execution of sales initiatives, programs, and activities to achieve revenue, growth, and market expansion goals. Own the financial health, operational budget, and P&L performance of the specialty sales organization.

P&L Management:

Own the financial health and operational budget of the cloud and solutions practice, ensuring efficient sales development and profitability.

Pipeline & Forecasting:

Lead sales pipeline management, providing accurate forecasting and lead generation initiatives to secure large‑scale IT outsourcing deals.

Strategic Growth:

Lead the transformation of practice solutions across the global footprint, aligning regional execution with the global "solutions and services" strategy.

Solution Innovation & GTM Strategy
Lead specialty sales teams selling complex, end‑to‑end cloud and security solutions. Drive solution‑led selling across partner ecosystems including Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, and others.

Agentic AI Integration:

Spearhead the adoption of NTT DATA’s "Smart AI Agent Ecosystem," moving beyond simple automation to human‑orchestrated autonomy in managed services.

Portfolio Optimization:

Design and implement repeatable, scalable solution plays that leverage our unified platform to outpace larger, traditional outsourcers.

Technical Design Review:

Authorize and drive solution design reviews to ensure technical feasibility, cost‑efficiency (onshore/offshore balance), and alignment with client business outcomes.

Team Leadership & Matrix Management:

Direct and coach a matrixed team of individual contributors and directors, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Collaborative Community:

Drive a "Community of Practice" where architects share best practices and information across the global system integrator (GSI) landscape.

The Ideal Profile

The "Business Outcome" Mindset:

A rare blend of deep technical fluency (Azure, AWS, GCP) and executive polish, capable of leading complex customer conversations focused on business outcomes rather than just features.

GSI Expertise:

Substantial experience in a global technology services organization, with a proven track record of managing both onshore and offshore delivery models.

Change Agent:

A leader who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, publicly identifying where adjustments are needed to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or business (MBA preferred).

Certifications: Professional‑level certifications in at least one major hyperscaler (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Experience: Demonstrated success in a sales/solutions leadership role managing budgets, business development, and cross‑functional technical teams.

Candidate will be required to work across a matrixed organization with an independent, startup mindset.

Candidate will be responsible for the allocated team target and budget and be responsible for forecasting and owning the pipeline.

Candidate will be required to operate with an owner of P&L mindset and continuously look to ways to improve profitability without compromising delivery.

Travel: As needed for business needs up to 50%.

Compensation & Benefits
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The range for this position is $160K-296K base plus variable commissions. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered. Company benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, life, and AD&D insurance, short‑and long‑term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
