We have an immediate opening for a
Renewable Energy
Tax Credit Associate
with
four to six
years of experience preferred. We will consider candidates for any of our offices including our virtual office, The Link. The candidate should have experience with renewable energy tax credits and real estate incentives, including advising developers, drafting and negotiating tax credit transfer agreements, financings and M&A pertaining to the renewable energy sector. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources business unit.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Washington is $230,000-$260,000, in California, New York, and Washington, D.C. is $240,000-$265,000, in Minnesota and Vermont is $215,000-$246,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
