Overview
My client is an F/S firm. The valuation group comprises approximately 250 people, with offices nationwide and abroad.
The work is in their portfolio valuations group, covering equity and debt investments. The purpose is to mark these to fair value for ASC 820 purposes.
On average, you will work with 40-60 investments per quarter across various asset manager clients (the busy period).
The clients cover VC, PE, hedge funds, and family offices, and are mostly credit-focused.
Work amongst the best in class industry talent in the field.
Offices across major cities in the USA, not just NYC.
Requirements
Bachelor's in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
6 months to 2.5 years of experience.
Currently employed in a valuation capacity at a consulting firm, Big 4, bank, etc.
The base salary depends on your years of experience, office location level, and benchmarking against the industry and colleagues at the firm.
