Position Details
Seasonal/Temporary Position : Estimated duration of 2 to 3 months, subject to change with operational business needs. Employment will conclude at the end of the assignment period. Seasonal employees may be considered for full-time roles if business needs arise, conversion to full-time is not guaranteed.
Pay: $18.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday 30-38 hours per week
Will require traveling and overnights
Must have a reliable form of transportation to travel to convenience stores & customer locations.
Car allowance, mileage and gasoline reimbursement will be provided.
Must carry full coverage insurance on personal vehicle.
Position Scope
The Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting customer's stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Sales/Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographical area they service.
Responsibilities
Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
Providing excellent customer service
Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations.
Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required.
Maintain safe store aisles.
Maintenance of assigned equipment
Reporting hours to division on provided time sheets
Occasional overnight travel
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
6+ months of merchandising/planogram reading and shelf building experience
Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
Must be able to frequently lift products weighing from 5-25 lbs. throughout the day.
Must be able to lift a case of product or tote which could weigh up to 70 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
12+ months merchandising and retail experience preferred
