Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Business Development
Identify, target, and develop new customer relationships through outbound calls, messaging, and in-person meetings
Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
Negotiation & Deal Execution
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers & carriers
Execute profitable deals while building long-term partnerships
Sales Performance
Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and revenue targets
Grow and manage a book of business in a competitive market
Market Awareness
Stay informed on market trends, lane activity, capacity, and pricing
Leverage market knowledge to maximize profitability
Collaboration
Partner with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution
Contribute insights to support overall business growth
Freight & Service Offerings
General Freight (Dry Van, Flatbed, Reefer)
LTL
Sprinter Vans & Box Trucks
Hazmat
Over-Dimensional Freight
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in sales
2+ years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales preferred
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skillsProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Tech-savvy with experience using CRM and/or TMS platforms
Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a team environment
Compensation Structure
Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Commission based on monthly Gross Profit
Salary paid weekly
Commission paid monthly
