Position and Location

Advisory & Planning Marketing Intern - Summer 2026 (Full-Time). Location options include Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Kansas City, MO; Washington, DC; New York, NY. This temporary position is for individuals currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
The internship is part of the WSP Summer Internship Program and runs for 12 weeks, beginning May 18, 2026. Start date may be flexible.
Your Impact

Support development of content for WSP proposals and other marketing deliverables.
Collaborate with the Strategic Growth Team, including marketing consultants and graphic designers.
Assist in authoring proposal and marketing content, conveying technical information simply while telling our story and highlighting our strengths.
Provide copy editing, proofreading, and review support for proposals and other marketing collateral.
Gather information through research, statistical reports and interviews with technical staff to write content for proposals and other marketing collateral.
Apply new technologies and innovations across the business for proposals and presentations, including creative media approaches and digital tools.
Complete training on assigned tasks.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications

Actively enrolled in an accredited Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
Must be 18 or older.
Demonstrated interest in Marketing, Communications, or related field, and a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects.
Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to execute projects.
Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications

Actively enrolled in an accredited Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.
Experience with event management/coordination.
Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.
Compensation

Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $21.74 - $30.53. WSP USA provides the compensation range in good faith and may pay more or less depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to adjust pay and offer additional benefits.
