Position: Manager of Individual & Major Giving
Do you love connecting with donors and making a difference for young children? The Children’s Place is seeking a dedicated Manager of Individual & Major Giving to join our development team to raise funds to support our mission.
What You'll Do
Manage a portfolio of mid-level and major gift donors and prospects.
Manage a portfolio for the capital campaign.
Lead development and implementation of a planned giving program
Develop individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
Collaborate with events, grants, marketing, volunteer engagement, corporate partnerships, and database teams.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3–5 years of fundraising experience, including donor cultivation and stewardship.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field (Master’s preferred; CFRE a plus).
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Raisers Edge and MS Office, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Attributes: Highly organized, collaborative, self-starter and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
