Associate Professional Relations Manager, Diagnostics
This role will focus on the following key areas:
Contract Management : Oversee the contract negotiation and execution process for medical education programs and research studies in close collaboration with key stakeholders
Grants Management : Direct the divisional grant review process in partnership with business partners and the grant committee, ensuring compliance and efficiency
Invoicing and Finance Support : Manage the processing of invoices related to contracts and grants, and contribute to monthly financial reporting
Event Support : Organize and manage logistics for customer visits and internal meetings, including securing hotel accommodations, arranging travel, coordinating room assignments, managing catering services, and overseeing expense reconciliation
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with Medical Education, Medical and Scientific Affairs and Marketing to initiate and renew contracts for clinicians and laboratorians including consultant communications, fair market value (FMV) determination and debarment screening
Partner with the Scientific Affairs team to facilitate and coordinate contracts for research studies, including direct communication with study sites regarding terms and conditions
Oversee the contract request process for research studies and consultants, including applicable negotiations, in partnership with divisional Legal colleagues
Coordinate vendor onboarding, as well as requisition and purchase order creation, for research studies and consultants
Administer the grant review process in accordance with divisional policies, including business and committee reviews, decision notifications, letters of agreement, and payment processing
Partner with other Hologic divisions to oversee and enhance the grant portal
Process invoices for research studies and consultants, ensuring timely payment and resolving any issues as necessary
Manage vendor and study invoice processing for the Medical and Scientific Affairs, Medical Education, and Sales Education teams, ensuring prompt payments and consistent communication with recipients as needed
Support the Scientific Affairs team with monthly financial reporting, including accruals related to ongoing studies
Organize logistics for customer and internal visits at the Innovation Center in San Diego, in collaboration with Sales, Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Medical and Scientific Affairs teams; support the Sales Education team with logistics of on‑site training classes
Coordinate travel arrangements for Innovation Center customer visits including airfare, lodging, ground transportation, dinner reservations, and reimbursement when needed
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company compliance and transparency policies, as well as state and federal regulations, including Sunshine Act and Stark Reporting requirements, to ensure full compliance across all responsibilities
Drive the advancement of responsibilities through innovative solutions, such as technology integration, to streamline and optimize processes
Qualifications
Prior experience within the diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred
Previous experience with research studies, consultant and/or grants is highly desired
Comfort with and experience in utilizing technology to complete contract and grant responsibilities, along with other technologies such as Excel, Oracle, etc.
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to communicate seamlessly across functions to achieve objectives
Advanced project management capabilities, excelling at balancing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining adaptability in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Outstanding organizational skills, ensuring effective management of contracts, grants, invoicing and events
Education
Bachelor's degree required
Experience
Professional experience 5 years at a minimum
