
VP, Business Solutions (IT)

Job Summary
Reporting into the CIO, the Vice President, Business Solutions will lead the operational transformation of rag & bone’s core business systems, including ERP, Order Management (OMS), and Point of Sale (POS), as part of the company’s transition toward a composable, data- and AI-enabled architecture. This role is accountable for translating business strategy into executable technology initiatives across Finance, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), and Supply Chain domains. Acting as a critical bridge between business and technology, the VP will oversee product ownership for enterprise applications and DTC platforms, ensuring delivery of scalable, future-ready solutions that unlock agility, efficiency, and growth.
Responsibilities
Lead Enterprise Systems Transformation
Own the end-to-end transformation of ERP, OMS, and POS platforms toward a composable architecture.
Drive modernization efforts, balancing business continuity with long-term strategic replatforming.
Ensure alignment with the company’s unified commerce vision and AI enablement roadmap.
Operational Leadership of Product Organization
Lead and manage the Enterprise Applications Product Owner and DTC Product Owner.
Establish a product‑centric operating model focused on outcomes, not projects.
Drive prioritization, roadmap execution, and delivery discipline across domains.
Cross‑Functional Business Alignment
Partner closely with Finance, Retail, E‑commerce, and Supply Chain leadership to define business requirements and success metrics.
Translate business needs into scalable system capabilities and data products.
Ensure systems support end‑to‑end processes across wholesale, retail, and digital channels.
Composable Architecture & Data Collaboration
Collaborate with the Head of Data & AI to design and implement a modular, loosely coupled architecture.
Ensure systems integrate seamlessly into the company’s universal data hub.
Champion API‑first, event‑driven, and data product‑oriented design principles.
Transformation Governance & Execution
Contribute to and operate within Transformation Committees across DTC, Supply Chain, Finance, and Data.
Define KPIs and track realization of business value from system investments.
Drive disciplined delivery of MVPs (“release zero”) and iterative enhancements.
Vendor & Ecosystem Management
Lead evaluation and selection of best‑in‑class solutions across ERP, POS, OMS, and adjacent domains.
Manage strategic partners and system integrators to ensure delivery quality and accountability.
Optimize total cost of ownership while enabling innovation.
Requirements
Leadership & Experience
12–15+ years of experience in enterprise systems, business applications, or digital transformation roles.
Proven experience leading large‑scale transformation programs across ERP, commerce, and supply chain systems.
Prior experience at Director or VP level in a fashion, retail, or consumer brand environment.
Functional Expertise
Deep understanding of end‑to‑end operations in a fashion or retail company, including:
Direct‑to‑Consumer (Retail & E‑commerce)
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
Finance & Accounting
Strong familiarity with modern commerce ecosystems (POS, OMS, e‑commerce platforms) and ERP systems.
Technology & Architecture
Experience transitioning from monolithic systems to composable or best‑of‑breed architectures.
Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and data platforms.
Exposure to data‑driven and AI‑enabled business processes is a strong plus.
Operating Model & Execution
Experience working in a product‑driven organization (vs. project‑based).
Strong track record of delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
Leadership & Influence
Executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, able to translate complex topics into clear business narratives.
Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams.

Target Salary
The target salary for this role is between $250,000 and $275,000 based on candidates experience and and expectations.
