Senior Product Designer

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to support the delivery of high-impact, responsive web experiences for individual investors within a Fortune 500 investment firm. This role requires strong end-to-end product design expertise, the ability to operate independently, and experience working in a compliance-driven environment.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong ability to advocate for design decisions while collaborating effectively across product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Product Design
Lead and contribute across the full product design lifecycle: discovery, definition, ideation, prototyping, delivery, and iteration
Translate complex requirements into intuitive, user-centered solutions
Design for a variety of experiences including onboarding, transactional flows, dashboards, and multi-step user journeys
Responsive Web Design
Design seamless experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile web
Apply strong understanding of grid systems, layout behavior, and component responsiveness
Design with context in mind—ensuring mobile experiences are purpose-built, not scaled-down versions of desktop
Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions
Participate in usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable improvements
Continuously incorporate analytics and research throughout the design process
Stakeholder Collaboration & Design Advocacy
Clearly communicate design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders
Partner closely with product owners and engineers to align on solutions
Proactively identify risks, challenge assumptions, and advocate for user-centered outcomes
Document decisions and maintain transparency across the team
Work within established design systems, applying components, patterns, and tokens consistently
Identify gaps and collaborate on system enhancements when needed
Autonomy & Ownership
Operate effectively in ambiguous environments, helping shape requirements as needed
Manage workload independently and communicate progress, risks, and blockers proactively
Balance speed and quality, knowing when to move forward and when to seek alignment
Qualifications
6–10+ years of product design experience
Proven ability to deliver end-to-end design solutions from concept through launch
Experience designing and shipping responsive web applications
Strong proficiency in Figma and design documentation best practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare
Background in designing data-heavy interfaces and complex workflows
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
Experience contributing to visual QA and ensuring design fidelity in production
Exposure to AI-assisted design workflows to improve efficiency and iteration
Strong attention to interaction detail, including micro-interactions and transitions
