Labcorp is seeking to hire a Specialty Customer Support Executive, Strategic Accounts (SCSR-SA) to support selected strategic accounts for account retention and focus on driving new sales through increased usage from existing accounts and lead generation with new opportunities for our continued growth across our Genetics, IVF, Donor and Women’s Health segment.
This is a unique opportunity to join the Genetics and Women’s Health sales team of a leading global life sciences company that advances patient health and empowers clear, confident decisions through its diagnostics and drug development offerings.
As an SCSE-SA, you will report to the Specialty Customer Support Manager, Strategic Accounts. This position will provide all sales-related support, reporting, and procedures, as well as onboarding assistance to the Directors’ Strategic Accounts (DSA) for select strategic accounts. This will account for approximately 75% of the SCSE-SA’s job responsibilities. In addition, the SCSR-SA will be responsible for generating leads for increased sales opportunities within these existing strategic accounts and selected new accounts. This will represent approximately 25% of the CSR-SA job responsibilities. As an SCSE-SA, you will work in conjunction with your field counterparts to maintain and grow the selected strategic accounts through their engagement with the client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for
onboarding, maintaining,
and
cultivating
relationships with key accounts/practices to guarantee a top-level customer experience.
Provide support to all assigned accounts, which includes but is not limited to running reports, ordering kits, monitoring TAT, dealing with lab issues, specialty pricing requests, updating Salesforce, EMR, and portal requests (75% of job responsibilities).
Execute all internal sales operations needed to establish a new practice, including: shipping kits; coordinating portal set-up with IT and portal usage (add users, resend invites, etc.); developing intervention/ remediation plans as needed.
Utilize comprehensive analysis to target selected low-volume clients and potential new clients via cold calling for new growth opportunities and generate leads for aligned Directors of Strategic Accounts.
Work collaboratively with Labcorp Division sales teams and Regional Directors, operations, marketing, and customer master groups on an as-needed basis to satisfy customer needs and support the growth of new opportunities.
Upsell current clients and provide training on new product lines, ensuring a smooth submission of new product line orders.
Research, contact, and secure 2-3 quality appointments per month in a defined group of target accounts for the Directors of Strategic Accounts that this role supports.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences
3 or more years’ of Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales Experience in the Diagnostics segment
Additional Job Standards
Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Highly adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and easily acclimating to a rapidly changing environment.
Women’s healthcare experience and relationships with IVF clinics, Gamete Donor banks, large OB consortiums, and hospital and health systems.
Previous laboratory or diagnostics sales experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salesforce experience.
Pay Range
$70,000 to $85,000 base salary plus commission
Variable Compensation
Eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.
