Job Requirements Minimum 5 years of related IT network and communications experience (LAN/WAN, routing, switching)
At least 3 years of supervisory or people-management experience
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of network design, technical security, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Experience managing teams and vendors in a healthcare or enterprise environment; familiarity with healthcare IT compliance (e.g., HIPAA) preferred
Experience with data center operations, telecommunications (VoIP), network monitoring, and vendor/contract oversight preferred
Key Responsibilities Lead and direct teams to ensure network and telecommunications design, reliability, integrity, and security across healthcare systems
Develop, implement, and monitor performance, safety, quality, and regulatory standards for network and communications services
Manage fiscal operations including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring expenditures for network and telecom services
Establish priorities for maintenance, development, and analysis of LAN/WAN, data centers, communication closets, and VoIP systems
Plan and lead department and organization-wide IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises
Design, support, and manage the maintenance of data centers and communication closets to ensure uptime and compliance
Coordinate project work with vendors, service providers, and internal departments; oversee contract management and vendor performance
Interpret technical drawings, maps, and service orders; translate technical requirements into operational plans
Coach and guide teams to optimize reporting, network monitoring, security tools (IDS/IPS), and incident response
Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve quality of service, and strengthen cybersecurity posture
Ensure compliance with annual budget plans, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
