
Content Strategist

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Content Strategist to support digital marketing initiatives across multiple brands in Illinois. This long‑term contract position focuses on creating and maintaining web experiences within Adobe Experience Manager, ensuring content is accurate, functional, and aligned with brand standards. The role works closely with marketing, UX, QA, and development teams to deliver high‑quality website content and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
Build and update web pages in Adobe Experience Manager using a range of reusable and custom page components.
Partner with UX, product, and digital teams to apply the right components and help strengthen a scalable library of digital experience assets.
Prepare effort estimates for content‑related work to support project planning and scheduling decisions.
Coordinate with brand marketing leaders and quality assurance partners to confirm content is validated before release.
Work with developers and IT stakeholders to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve content defects or display issues.
Maintain production content while ensuring analytics tracking, social sharing metadata, and related tagging standards are properly applied.
Review content prepared by internal marketing contributors to verify consistency, accuracy, and launch readiness.
Follow sound coding practices that support maintainability, clarity, and efficient reuse across digital content implementations.
Qualifications
At least 4 years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager to support content implementation, component usage, and related applications.
Practical knowledge of front‑end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to support responsive site functionality.
Experience with web content management in a large corporate environment, including content migration or large‑scale content updates.
Ability to diagnose content issues, identify root causes, and drive effective resolutions across cross‑functional teams.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or similar work‑management platforms.
Understanding of digital marketing technologies and analytics platforms, including tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities effectively.
Exposure to tools such as Marketo, Adobe Target, or Adobe Launch is considered an advantage.
