Creative Director, Global Brand

Key Responsibilities

Develop a vision, strategy, organization, and resource plan for AIG Creative Services’ center of excellence to complement the global footprint.

Work strategically with external and internal resources to integrate competing priorities, setting a clear intake, prioritization, feedback, and collaboration process.

Build trusted partnerships with AIG experts in Marketing Communications, Human Resources, Investor Relations, and other corporate teams to deliver consistent creative design and production.

Lead and manage a team of design, video, and production professionals, including skills assessment, workload allocation, and career development.

Oversee design and creative execution across internal and external communications, experiential branding, event branding, corporate materials, sales enablement, advertising, infographics, and promotional items.

Lead marketing and communications design projects such as social postings, video, data visualization, photography, digital newsletters, emails, collateral, advertisements, PowerPoint presentations, and promotional materials from conception to final production.

Manage production partners, ensuring quality control and effective cost and service relations.

Develop an in-house materials center including tool kits and templates to support departments organization‑wide.

Establish a design review process to log, track, and ensure timely and budget‑conscious project completion.

Enhance the visual brand standards, guiding tone, manner, and personality of all marketing materials to maintain consistency with evolving guidelines.

Identify hardware, software, and training platforms required to sustain current and emerging communications vehicles, including global adaptation and distribution.

Provide portfolios that demonstrate strong creative platforms, multi‑channel execution, and expertise in art direction and motion graphics (include a link and password if applicable).

Job Requirements

15+ years of professional design and creative management experience.

Strong design aesthetic and an inspiring portfolio of strategic marketing and communications.

Proficiency with MS Office, MS SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Monday.com.

Team leadership and management experience with sound judgment.

Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on consistency.

Proficiency in current and emerging creative development and production technologies.

Ability to prioritize, manage time, and meet conflicting deadlines.

Strong teamwork skills and willingness to work independently to meet tight deadlines.

Must multitask under stress while maintaining a positive, collaborative demeanor.

Bachelor’s Degree or BFA in graphic design or related field.

Location: New York City office.

Salaries for NYC positions range from $135,000 to $155,000, with eligibility for a bonus per the applicable incentive plan.
