The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and creative Multimedia Designer to join the Design team in our Marketing department. This role creates short form videos, advertising, and sales materials for large scale events. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate that seamlessly across mediums. It’s a great time to join AGI as we are rolling out a refreshed brand identity and this role will play a crucial role in shaping that in the agriculture industry. You will be responsible for concepting, pitching, and producing visual assets ensuring each piece aligns with our brand identity. Your work will help captivate target audiences, boost brand identity, and drive engagement across various platforms. A strong video/motion background combined with traditional design skills is the needed skillset for this role.

As an in-house designer, this role works both independently on projects with marketers and also collaborates closely with the rest of the Design team to develop creative concepts and campaigns. This role reports to our Brand and Design Lead.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce visual assets for digital and print marketing campaigns including social media, web, advertisements, brochures, events and other promotional materials.

Editing footage to create a cohesive sequence, ensuring smooth transitions and logical flow. Adding audio, supers, closed captioning, colour correction and quality control. Develop video concepts for social media, collaborating with social media marketer.

Ensure all work aligns with brand identity and guidelines, maintaining a cohesive approach across all materials.

Work closely with the marketing team, designers and team lead to develop creative concepts and campaigns, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in design, video and social media ensuring marketing efforts remain competitive and up to date.

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.

Prepare and optimize graphics for various platforms, maintaining quality and load times.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and video, preferably in an in-house or agency environment

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field

Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Firefly – Express is a bonus). Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Word) and familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, Jira and intranet sites

Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout design and video editing

Experience working independently or collaboratively for larger projects in a fast-paced environment meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple projects at once
