Position Overview
The Malco Group is seeking an experienced
Senior Account Coordinator – Retail
to support national retail partners including
Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menards , and other strategic retail accounts. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day account coordination, ensuring flawless execution of retail programs, and supporting sales growth across in-store and digital channels.
This is a
senior-level coordination role
requiring strong big-box retail experience, advanced organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while partnering closely with the National Retail Sales Director and cross-functional internal teams. The Senior Account Coordinator plays a critical role in driving accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all retail touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Account Support & Coordination
Submit account item set-ups, maintenance, and ongoing content support in retailer portals.
Collaborate with the cross-functional marketing team to develop online item assets.
Act as the primary owner of vendor income and compliance reconciliation.
Retail Execution & Reporting
Maintain accurate account records, pricing, promotions, and product assortments.
Compile and distribute sales reports, and performance summaries.
Support promotional planning, product launches, and retail initiatives.
Data & Systems Management
Update and manage information in ERP, CRM, or retailer portals.
Ensure data accuracy related to pricing, SKUs, contracts, and account terms.
Assist with retailer compliance requirements, documentation, and audits.
Relationship Management
Build strong working relationships with retailer contacts and internal stakeholders.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all in-store and online representations of Malco brands adhere to global quality and messaging standards.
Senior-Level Contribution & Continuous Improvement
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of retail account support.
Support onboarding of new retail accounts and expansion of existing partnerships.
Anticipate account needs and proactively support the National Retail Sales Director with insights and execution.
Education / Experience
Proven Experience: 3-5+ years experience in e-commerce marketing, sales, or sales coordination, specifically with Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards retailers.
Direct experience supporting national big box retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Proficiency in SEO, PPC advertising, email marketing, social media management, analytics tools, and productivity software.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Travel: Ability to travel occasionally to visit key account headquarters, regional offices, and industry trade shows.
