About the Role The Corporate Communications Intern will be part of the Corporate Marketing and Communications team, supporting a range of internal and external communication initiatives that advance Azurity’s business priorities, culture, and reputation. The internship offers hands‑on experience across content development, channel support, event coordination, and project management in a global, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development of multi‑channel communications aligned with key business milestones, including internal announcements, company presentations, social media content, and press materials.
Assist with drafting, editing, and formatting content in accordance with brand guidelines, tone, and regulatory standards.
Contribute to the planning and execution of internal events such as town halls and workshops, supporting content development, speaker preparation, and logistics.
Provide project coordination support for conference participation, including maintaining tracking documents and assisting with vendor communications and contract documentation.
Assist with managing communication channels and tools, including email distribution, intranet platforms, collaboration tools, social media, media monitoring tools, and content calendars.
Lead or support special projects and initiatives as assigned, balancing multiple priorities and timelines.
Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and strategic discussions to gain exposure to business operations and contribute ideas where appropriate.
Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing internship contributions, key projects, and learning outcomes.
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and alignment with company values in all work and interactions.
Required Skills and Experience
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to align with brand voice.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams is a plus.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to assess information and identify opportunities for improvement.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, well‑organized work.
High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Interest in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Experience supporting projects, calendars, or events in an academic, volunteer, or professional setting.
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.
May occasionally climb stairs and/or ride elevators.
May occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to manipulate keyboard, operate a telephone and hand‑held devices.
Other miscellaneous job duties as required.
