Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator, under the direction of the VP of Marketing & Communications, supports the Marketing & Communications Department in implementing strategies and programs to increase tourism’s economic impact in the Wisconsin Dells area. The role coordinates multiple projects, manages interdepartmental deadlines, and proof‑checks documents across various mediums.

Required Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Superior attention to detail and strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Experience with project‑management software (a plus).

Ability to develop strong relationships among cross‑functional groups.

Ability to build relationships with tourism partners.

High level of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.

Self‑starter capable of moving projects forward, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

Strong communication skills, including holding teammates accountable to deadlines.

Proficiency and efficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Basic understanding of traditional marketing strategies.

Accurate data entry and spreadsheet creation.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work with multiple areas.

Education and Experience
Minimum of an associate degree and four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should be able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively. Hospitality experience or background is preferred. The ideal candidate possesses demonstrated skills in handling multiple assignments simultaneously, excellent grammar and proofreading skills, and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
