
Wellness Director

MeSun Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Wellness Director to lead our clinical team and oversee the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of CNAs and MedTechs and work amicably with other team members, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Maintain communication with family members and conduct Care Plan meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily operations of the Resident Care Department
Manage clinical assessments and re-assessments in accordance with state regulations
Ensure accurate care plans, documentation, and timely updates for all residents
Supervise, train, and support CNAs and Med Techs to maintain high-quality care standards
Coordinate care with physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, hospice, and other providers
Maintain strong communication with residents’ families and conduct care plan meetings
Ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements
Manage staff scheduling to meet staffing requirements
Conduct staff evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed
Oversee medication management processes and ensure accountability among staff
Investigate and document incidents, ensuring proper reporting and follow-up
Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, and emergency systems
Participate in leadership and quality improvement meetings
Serve as on-call support for the clinical department as needed
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Previous leadership or management experience in healthcare
Experience in assisted living or senior living (preferred)
Knowledge of state regulations and compliance requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
