Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities
Diagnose automotive problems as they arise
Conduct inspections, repair engine failure, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, and replace parts
Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process
Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team
Automotive Technician/Mechanic Compensation And Benefits
Flat‑Rate Pay – the pay rate depends on certifications and experience but ranges from $30 - $45/hour for Technicians. Apprentice rate: $50 - $75 per hour.

1‑2 years of experience as a Certified Technician
ASE Certifications
Valid Driver’s License

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
