Your role and responsibilities
As an ISV Partner Specialist for SW Platforms, you will establish a trusted advisor relationship with assigned Build partners and engage PTSs to co-create proofs of technology. You will outline business model requirements to build the business case to embed IBM software, including Cloud Engagement Funding investments and Hybrid Cloud Build Team.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Develop Trusted Advisor Relationships: Establish strong relationships with assigned Build partners, understanding each partner's business model and identifying opportunities to embed IBM software.
Co-Create Proofs of Technology: Engage PTSs to develop proofs of technology, outlining business model requirements to build a business case for embedding IBM software.
Accelerate Go-to-Market: Leverage TechBrokers, the Partner Advocacy Program, and cross IBM/Ecosystem promotion to accelerate the go-to-market for Build partners' solutions.
Outline Business Model Requirements: Identify and document business model requirements to support the business case for embedding IBM software, including Cloud Engagement Funding investments and Hybrid Cloud Build Team.
Required technical and professional expertise
Establishing Trusted Advisor Relationships: Experience with developing strong relationships with partners, understanding their business models, and identifying opportunities to embed software solutions.
Co-Creating Proofs of Technology: Experience in collaborating with technical teams to develop proofs of technology, outlining business model requirements to build a business case for software integration.
Business Model Development: Experience with identifying and documenting business model requirements to support business cases for software embedding, including investment and team collaboration.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Experience with leveraging programs and promotions to accelerate go-to-market for partner solutions, driving business growth and ecosystem engagement.
Software Integration Planning: Experience in planning and executing software integration, including understanding of cloud engagement funding investments and hybrid cloud build team requirements.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Cloud Engagement Funding Knowledge: Experience with cloud engagement funding investments and hybrid cloud build team requirements is beneficial for this role. Understanding of how to leverage these investments to drive business growth and ecosystem engagement is a plus.
Hybrid Cloud Solutions Familiarity: Familiarity with hybrid cloud solutions and their integration with software platforms is desirable. Experience with planning and executing software integration in a hybrid cloud environment is a valuable asset.
TechBroker Program Understanding: Knowledge of the TechBroker program and its role in accelerating go-to-market for partner solutions is advantageous. Experience with leveraging this program to drive business growth is a preferred qualification.
