Starting at $20.16 to $24.51 an hour, depending on experience + Production Incentive
Schedule
Monday - Friday 5:00am to 3:30pm or until work is completed. Saturday duty may be required.

Overview
The Truss Builder’s main responsibility is to manufacture roof and floor trusses using framing hammer, electric saw, pneumatic nail gun, and other necessary equipment. They ensure the quality and accuracy of the trusses, working closely with the Sawyer and Truss Stacker to maintain defect‑free products. The role supports our mission of Legendary Service Through Teamwork by delivering defect‑free products built from properly graded wood and steel.
Qualifications
Ability to use a framing hammer, electric saw, pneumatic nail gun, and any other equipment necessary for the job
Ability to read a tape measure
Reliable transportation
Puncture‑resistant, slip‑resistant shoes made of leather or composite material
Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect materials for damage prior to use (cracks, wane, mold, sun damage, etc.)
Assist with unloading precut lumber and placing it accurately on the fabrication table
Use pull sheets to retrieve the correct amount of nail plates for each batch
Fabricate trusses by assembling lumber with nail plates and a hammer
Ensure quality through tight joints, proper plate placement, and lack of material defects
Maintain a steady pace with a sense of urgency and accuracy
Arrive well‑groomed and attend the work site in proper attire with good hygiene
Help keep the work area clean and minimize product damage and rebuilds
Ensure the day's workload is completed before leaving
Perform other related duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Seat or stand for extended periods
Bend and kneel repeatedly
Lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds and carry objects up to 50 feet
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Use appropriate safety equipment
Remain active for 8–10 hours a day (lifting, moving, hammering)
