Marketing Pursuit Manager (Temporary Position)

What We're Looking For
Lead the marketing effort of the Division’s most complex and strategic pursuits. Provide strategic direction and guidance to pursuit teams in developing responses and preparing materials. Term: June through December 2026 (start date flexible). What You'll Do
Lead and assist with oversight of proposal activities, including leading proposal support staff teams; manage proposal schedules and deadlines, develop proposal outline, and partner with the pursuit champion to monitor progress of proposals. Lead and write qualification packages, proposals and leave‑behind material for pursuits. Collaborate with technical staff and write/review/edit original content for clarity, compliance and key messages. Work with pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, partnering with national resources to drive sales approach and provide business intelligence on clients, competitors and the company. Organize and may facilitate pursuit strategy meetings. Lead the pursuit team on the presentation phase, including presentation coaching. Organize and coach technical staff in the presentation phase. May lead strategic initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field and 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience. What You’ll Bring
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint and other communications‑related software programs. Experience working with pursuit teams to research and develop actionable win strategies and graphics that address client needs and meet strategic goals. Strong writing and editing skills to create compelling, grammatically correct copy for proposals and branding materials, improving proposal organization, readability, completeness and clarity. Ability to coordinate writing and graphics support services to achieve pursuit objectives, meet deadlines and perform quality and compliance reviews. Skill in preparing presentations and providing presentation/interview coaching to effectively use meeting time to obtain critical information. Facilitation of discovery and strategy meetings.
