Interior Designer — Full Time
NewStudio Architecture seeks a creative, experienced interior designer (3–6 years) with refined design aesthetics who is passionate about their work. This position is full-time and requires a self‑motivated, organized, and professional candidate.

Responsibilities

Curate material palettes, including specification research and hands‑on palette generation, occasionally travelling to showrooms.

Use Adobe, Revit, and Enscape to communicate ideas in 3D renderings and construction documents.

Assist in developing formal client presentations in both digital and physical formats.

Work in both face‑to‑face and remote capacities, collaborating with teams.

Draft detailed sketches, working plans, and drawings from sketches and existing drawings.

Research code requirements and ensure design feasibility (ADA, fire, building codes, etc.).

Thrive in a fast‑paced environment, provide quick feedback, and dig into details.

Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

A professional degree in interior design or interior architecture; CIDA‑accredited preferred.

3–6 years of postgraduate industry experience.

Strong design, technical, and graphic skills with proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Experience producing an array of documents in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.

Experience creating furniture specifications and in construction document production, interior detailing, and custom millwork design.

Experience ordering samples, knowledge of manufacturers and finish materials.

Demonstrated skills in producing and coordinating drawing sets.

Experience in construction administration and submittal reviews.

Excellent organizational and communication skills; team player.

Strong curiosity for product specifications and product research.

Experience with ADA, building, and fire code requirements.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in commercial design, hospitality, and high‑end residential (interest or actual experience).

Experience using Design Manager.

Experience pricing furniture and accessories (or willingness to learn).
