Lonestar Electric Supply is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who will promote the company’s products and services to existing and prospective customers through strategic use of graphics, logos, and other promotional products.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with sales or marketing representatives to fully understand product and communication needs.
Serves as on-site contact for vendors during installations or events.
Tracks logistics for marketing projects including merchandise orders, business cards & more.
Creates & implements social media calendars for secondary brand pages.
Conducts data analysis on organic social media to optimize content calendars for engagement.
Monitors & creates digital reputation management channels for all physical locations.
Sweeps & maintains websites/social media pages for content accuracy.
Gathers the materials necessary to understand the project and competition in the area such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; analyzes these materials to determine the most effective communications technique.
Based on assessment, drafts and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.
Presents design ideas and recommendations to director of marketing, associates, leadership or sales team.
Creates and coordinates multimedia packages.
Evaluates success of campaigns when completed.
Attends trade shows and community fairs and staffs the company booth.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support presentations and contribute to public-facing communications as needed.
Exhibits exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Effectively manages time and priorities, with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Applies strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills to support business objectives.
Maintains proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software tools.
Holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
Brings 1–3 years of experience in writing and editing, with a portfolio of relevant work strongly preferred.
Prepares and presents recommendations to the Marketing Manager.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
