About The Role
Monks is seeking a talented production designer with strong silhouetting and retouching skills to further their skills in digital asset production and content design. In this senior‑level role, you will join a dedicated global team in producing top‑quality content for the product interfaces of one of the world’s most recognizable brands.
Responsibilities
Specialize in the design of static visuals for a wide variety of channels, including product interfaces, social media, and display advertising.
Work as part of a dedicated global team of designers, illustrators, animators, editors, and art directors who produce world‑class work across time zones.
Harmonize speed, style, and scale to produce high‑quality assets at a steady pace.
Ensure pixel‑perfectness and safeguard quality at all times while collaborating with QA testers.
Make sure designs adhere to guidelines and are consistent across ad formats, dimensions, and languages.
Work directly with art directors on the client side, representing Monks from a design point of view.
Perform professional photo retouching and image editing (color correction, skin/blemish retouching, background clean‑up, compositing, and artifact removal) to ensure all assets meet brand standards and visual consistency across channels.

About You
The essentials
Around 6+ years of experience in digital production design, retouching, and crafting digital ads and assets.
Solid Photoshop and Illustrator skills; Sketch skills are a bonus.
Mastery of the art of silhouetting and retouching.
Strong understanding of color management, image resolution, compression, and exporting for various ad networks and platforms.
Organized file, layer, and folder practices.
Experience collaborating directly with client‑side art directors and stakeholders, translating briefs into deliverables while managing expectations and revisions.
Ability to take charge of tasks independently, collaborate with clients, and proactively lead projects.
Contribute to different stages of the production process; from setting styles and layouts to cutting formats and language versioning.
Creating balanced and beautiful layouts is second nature.
Always looking for process efficiencies.
Can handle repetitive tasks and stay focused.
Well‑versed in English, production tricks, and cat videos.
Clear communicator and comfortable working with designers worldwide.

Salary Range: $70,000—$85,000 USD
