Death Valley Harley-Davidson, part of the Wise Riders dealer group, is seeking a high‑performing
Sales Manager
to lead our sales team in Victorville, CA.
This is a leadership role focused on driving showroom performance, managing daily sales activity, and developing a team of Fit Specialists (Sales Associates). The ideal candidate is results‑driven, accountable, and experienced in high‑volume automotive or powersports sales environments.
You will be responsible for executing a structured, KPI‑driven sales process while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage the Sales Team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
Drive showroom activity including appointments, customer greets, TOs (turnovers), and closing ratios
Desk deals and structure transactions to maximize front‑end gross profit
Recruit, hire, and train sales staff (Fit Specialists)
Monitor and engage in CRM usage, lead follow‑up, and pipeline management
Conduct daily sales meetings, one‑on‑one coaching sessions, and performance reviews
Partner with Finance (F&I), Service, and Parts departments to improve total dealership performance
Handle customer escalations and ensure a high‑quality buying experience
Maintain compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and California state regulations
Qualifications
3+ years of sales management experience (automotive, powersports, RV, or related industry preferred)
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing high‑performing teams
Strong knowledge of deal structure, desking, and gross profit management
Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
Passion for motorcycles and the Harley‑Davidson brand preferred
Valid driver’s license required (motorcycle endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain)
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak business hours
