Position – Sr. Aircraft Cabinet Maker
The Sr. Aircraft Cabinet Maker builds and installs high‑end aircraft cabinetry using veneers, laminates, hardwoods, and composite materials to support aircraft interior completions. This role ensures all work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards and may assist in training and mentoring other cabinet builders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and install aircraft cabinetry and interior components
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications
Work with veneers, laminates, hardwoods, Corian, and composite materials
Build and install drawers, cabinets, monuments, and interior structures
Layout, route, and install inlays, switches, cup holders, and interior features
Apply adhesives, epoxies, and bonding techniques to materials
Fabricate components including hinge blocks, panels, and interior assemblies
Operate equipment such as CNC machines, pin routers, and table saws
Prepare and assemble fiberglass panels and cabinetry structures
Support the training and mentorship of cabinet builders and team members
Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedules
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and organized work environment
Meet assigned schedules and production targets
Regular and prompt attendance
Other duties as assigned
This safety‑sensitive position may be subject to DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, including pre‑employment and random testing.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

Minimum four (4) years of aircraft cabinetry experience required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
This position may be subject to ITAR (U.S. Person) requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
Strong knowledge of aircraft cabinetry fabrication and installation techniques
Experience using precision woodworking tools and equipment
Ability to work with veneers, laminates, composites, adhesives, and epoxies
Ability to train and mentor junior technicians
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Ability to identify and operate the proper tools for assigned tasks
Ability to read measuring instruments and perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to fabricate small components and support final assembly adjustments
Ability to work in a fast‑paced production or completions environment
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently / 100 lbs with assistance
Ability to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and in various positions (standing, kneeling, stooping)
Ability to work outside of core business hours as required
