Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in San Diego, CA, for an Interior Designer. The designer will be responsible for space planning, creating detailed construction drawings and specifications, selecting furnishings and finishes (FF&E), and collaborating with homeowners, builders, and industry professionals. The role requires overseeing design concepts from initial consultation to project completion, ensuring aesthetic and functional excellence while upholding the firm’s design principles.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design
Proficiency in creating Construction Drawings and an understanding of Architecture
Experience with FF&E selection and specification
Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, builders, and vendors
Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Prior experience in residential interior design projects is highly preferred
