We are looking for our next Social Media Content Speacialist at our Flagship Location

The Social Media Content Specialist will be responsible for creating, capturing, and managing engaging content across all social media platforms. This role combines creative direction, photography, and brand storytelling to elevate The BFLO Store’s digital presence. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, experience in product and lifestyle photography, and a deep understanding of retail apparel branding.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, create, and execute social media content strategies across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest
Capture high-quality product photography, including styled apparel shoots and flat lays
Shoot and edit lifestyle photography that aligns with brand identity and seasonal campaigns
Design visually compelling graphics and social posts consistent with brand aesthetics
Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to highlight new product drops, promotions, and in-store experiences
Manage content calendar and ensure consistent posting schedules
Write engaging captions that reflect brand voice and connect with the local community
Monitor social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly
Track performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement and reach
Assist in coordinating photoshoots, including styling, location scouting, and model direction
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in social media content creation, preferably in retail or apparel
Strong portfolio showcasing photography (especially product and lifestyle) and social media work
Proficiency in photography and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar)
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms
Understanding of retail apparel trends, styling, and visual merchandising
Ability to maintain brand consistency across all content
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with clothing or lifestyle brands
Basic video editing skills (Reels, TikTok, short‑form content)
Knowledge of Buffalo culture and community
