Senior Art Director – Digital Marketing
Responsibilities:
Independently conceptualize, develop, and design content based on strategic direction on digital tactics.
Work with senior art staff and copywriters to develop concept and layout for client, in‑house, and new‑business projects.
Prepare detailed layouts and storyboards.
Ensure timely turnaround on assignments and adherence to project deadlines.
Collaborate with the in‑house art department/studio and external suppliers to complete comps.
Work closely with editorial and project management teams to meet deadlines.
Create and format content across digital platforms.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Manage and lead entry‑level designers/art directors, allocating personnel and outsourcing as appropriate.
Monitor overall quality of agency creative output, providing direction and leadership.
Present creative concepts in client meetings as requested.
Execute initial concepts through to final completion.
Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining a digital portfolio of creative samples (pharmaceutical marketing samples preferred).
Qualifications
Minimum 4–8 years of creative/creative‑management experience in a digital agency.
Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience preferred.
Proficient in Figma.
Self‑motivated, professional, detail‑oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Comfortable working under pressure within tight deadlines.
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a commitment to superior quality.
Advanced experience with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Compensation
$90,000 – $120,000 a year
