About the Role
The
Business Development Executive
plays a key role in driving growth by connecting clients with innovative event technology solutions that enhance brand experiences. You'll work within a supportive, high-performing sales team, building trusted client relationships and expanding into strategic markets.
This role involves managing inbound and outbound opportunities, leading discovery conversations, and acting as a strategic partner throughout the sales process. It's a collaborative position with opportunities to influence sales strategy, mentor others, and grow your career in an inclusive, learning-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients through inbound and outbound outreach
Build relationships with decision-makers via email, phone, social, and in-person engagement
Conduct discovery sessions to understand client needs and align solutions
Develop proposals, RFP responses, and business cases
Represent the organization at industry events and client meetings
Partner with Marketing, Solutions, and Account Management teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
Contribute to team development through knowledge-sharing and mentorship
Maintain accurate CRM data and provide forecasting insights (Salesforce, HubSpot)
Requirements
Strong interest in relationship-building and consultative selling
Excellent communication and active listening skills
Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage executive stakeholders
Experience with CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom, Slack)
Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, BANT, or SPIN Selling is a plus
