Our customer in Lena, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. Were hiring Receiving Specialists to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and preparing raw materials to support efficient and safe production operations.
Responsibilities of the Receiving Specialist:
Receive and inspect incoming raw materials for quality and specification compliance.
Document and report material discrepancies or quality concerns to appropriate personnel.
Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure proper material flow.
Maintain accurate intake, inventory, and material usage records.
Store materials according to safety and organizational standards.
Follow all safety protocols while handling raw materials.
Assist with inventory tracking and material staging as needed.
Receiving Specialist Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Forklift experience or certification preferred.
Familiarity with inventory or quality control systems is a plus.
Pay for Receiving Specialist: $22/hour.
Intake Receiving Specialist:
Paid weekly.
Direct deposit.
Health insurance.
Paid training.
Type: 1st Shift, Full-time.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 5:00am until done, Saturday as needed.
