
Regional Engagement Specialist

Primary Purpose Of Position
The Regional Engagement Specialist supports employee engagement and alignment through actively participating in the development, execution, and evaluation of strategic internal alignment efforts for the nuclear organizations. This role has hands‑on responsibility for driving employee awareness, engagement, and alignment with corporate and business unit goals. The specialist serves as a key advisor to site leadership, fosters a collaborative and accountable team culture, and directly contributes to critical employee notification and engagement initiatives.
Primary Duties And Accountabilities
Develop, execute, and evaluate strategic internal engagement programs to support employee alignment on nuclear corporate business plan initiatives, strategic alignment plans covering teaching/learning topics, business imperatives, plant investments, and Employee Resource Groups.
Develop and deliver employee engagement and alignment resources for major initiatives, including refueling outages, Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) evaluations, training reaccreditation, etc.
Counsel leadership on employee engagement and alignment.
Assist leadership in development of All Hands meetings, Weekly Alignment Packages, digital displays, and Monday Morning Memo contributions.
Support efforts to drive employee engagement in key policy initiatives.
Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience
Associate degree with 10 years of related experience
High school diploma with 12 years of related experience
Maintenance of minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties and federal regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of the energy industry
Understanding of technologies such as Panopto, digital work, enterprise social networks/platforms, etc.
Proficiency in project management, effective leadership practices, and employee engagement
