
Senior Director of Quality Assurance

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Quality Assurance to join our client’s operational excellence initiative in a staff augmentation capacity. This role will drive continuous improvement through advanced quality methodologies, lead cross‑functional process improvements, and influence stakeholders across the organization to achieve operational excellence objectives.
Key Responsibilities Quality and Process Excellence
Lead and facilitate structured problem‑solving sessions, including Lean Problem‑Solving Sessions, FMEA, root cause analysis, kaizen events, and other quality improvement methodologies to identify and mitigate operational risks.
Design, document, and optimize operational processes using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies, including process mapping the Corporate Real Estate Production Cycle and related systems and controls to drive improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation and standard operating procedures.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
Lead and influence cross‑functional teams and stakeholders who do not have direct reporting relationships.
Guide project teams through complex operational improvements and quality initiatives.
Build consensus and drive adoption of new processes and methodologies across departments.
Mentor team members on quality tools, LEAN principles, and continuous improvement practices.
Change Management and Communication
Implement structured change management approaches to ensure successful process transformations.
Communicate complex technical concepts and improvement opportunities to diverse audiences.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings to drive organizational alignment.
Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior leadership.
Data and Metrics Governance
Understand and support existing KPIs and quality metrics to ensure process improvements align with organizational objectives.
Assess impact of proposed system and data changes on governance frameworks and data integrity.
Collaborate with data governance teams to evaluate risks and opportunities related to metrics and reporting when implementing process changes.
Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement while maintaining alignment with existing measurement systems.
Required Qualifications Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma methodology required.
LEAN certification or extensive experience in LEAN implementation preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in quality operations, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
Proven experience leading FMEA processes and risk assessment methodologies.
Demonstrated facility operations knowledge across multiple functional areas.
Strong background in process documentation, standardization, and optimization.
Technical Competencies
Advanced knowledge of LEAN principles, tools, and implementation strategies.
Proficiency in Six Sigma methodology and statistical analysis tools.
Experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, and workflow optimization.
Knowledge of performance management systems and data governance frameworks.
Leadership and Soft Skills
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
Strong change management skills with experience implementing organizational transformations.
Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Compensation Estimated compensation for this position: 192,000.00 – 210,000.00 USD per year.
Actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
