Admissions & Marketing Liaison
STGi is currently seeking an Admissions & Marketing Liaison to provide services at our Georgia War Veterans Home.

Job Summary
To promote the community census goals by developing partnerships with our external clients and the patients and families we serve while maintaining excellent working relationships with the organization’s interdisciplinary team.

Essential Functions

Develop and execute a regional sales plan.

In conjunction with the Executive Director and Admissions Director, develop and implement both short‑term and long‑term programs for the facility in its efforts to establish and maintain marketing and public relations programs.

Act as a liaison between GWVH and key health providers.

Gather sufficient pre‑admission data to determine resident level of care and the ability of the facility to properly care for the resident.

Interview potential residents and residents’ representatives to collect accurate data.

Complete pre‑admission and admission inquiry forms accurately.

Interact with discharge planners effectively and efficiently, obtaining appropriate resident information and analyzing it to determine if the community can adequately care for the resident.

Identify potential residents whose needs can be met by the facility and accept reservations for resident accommodations accurately and in an organized manner.

Understand the facility computer system and the software used in this department.

Analyze quality‑indicator information related to admissions, discharges, and resident case mix to develop and implement the marketing program.

Refer community and resident concerns to appropriate individuals.

Perform all duties as assigned effectively.

Follow admission, transfer, and discharge policies and procedures.

Obtain required signatures on all admission forms.

Communicate an accurate facility census to all departments.

Keep accurate records of residents’ information and maintain confidentiality.

Notify appropriate departments when a resident is admitted, transferred, discharged or moved from one room to another.

Work cooperatively with all department supervisors and administrative staff.

Meet or exceed budgeted census goals.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of admissions contracts.

Complete accurate eligibility verification and enter data into the electronic medical record.

Collaborate with IDT and external referral sources.

Effectively work within the intake referral system.

Required Skills
An associate degree in a business‑related field or a minimum of two years of experience in long‑term‑care admissions. Marketing experience preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Primarily involves standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending/stooping, pushing and pulling (typical weight of 5 lb. and maximum weight of 10 lb., approx.) and lifting (minimum weight of 5 lb. and maximum weight of 10 lb., approx.).

Repetitive finger movements, hearing and talking on the phone and in person.

Continuous effective stress management, ability to handle noise and interruptions while maintaining a pleasant attitude within a healthcare team.
