Position Summary
The Manager, Commercial Innovation & Launch Excellence plays a critical role in supporting global new product development (NPD) programs by driving commercial rigor, launch excellence, and portfolio management from early innovation through post‑launch execution.
This individual will drive successful product launches by ensuring they are well‑governed, market‑ready, and scalable. Partnering closely with Product Managers and Regional Marketing teams, they will function as the commercial center of excellence—enhancing consistency, accelerating speed to market, and strengthening execution across global launches. They will also build and maintain a robust, prioritized product innovation pipeline that supports the core business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead launch readiness activities for new product innovation and the introduction of existing products into new markets or regions, ensuring alignment across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Medical, and Operations.
Drive launch cadence management, milestone tracking, and risk identification across multiple concurrent programs.
Coordinate commercial readiness inputs for phase‑gate, launch readiness, and post‑launch reviews.
Ensure consistent application of launch excellence frameworks, tools, and KPIs across regions.
Support post‑launch performance monitoring and transition into lifecycle management.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the core product innovation funnel from early concept through commercialization.
Prioritize initiatives based on market trends, competitive dynamics, internal capabilities, strategic fit, value creation, and execution readiness.
Support portfolio sequencing, resourcing, and investment decisions.
Build financial market models—including market opportunity models and revenue forecasts.
Enable structured portfolio reviews using market insights, financial assumptions/market models, and risk assessments.
Track portfolio health and progress to support leadership visibility and decision making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field).
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
3–5 years in global marketing, commercialization, launch excellence, or commercial operations.
Experience supporting new product launches and development at global/regional levels.
Experience in market modeling, forecasting, and analytics.
Knowledge of Oncology portfolio preferred (Drainage portfolio experience a plus).
Able to travel globally (~25%).

Salary Range Information $99,700.00 - $164,300.00 USD Annual
