About the Campaign:
A competitive, DCCC-targeted Democratic congressional campaign in South Jersey is seeking a Campaign Manager to lead a high-stakes effort to flip a battleground district. The campaign is building a disciplined, community-focused operation focused on lowering costs, holding Washington accountable, and delivering results for working families.
About the Role:
The Campaign Manager will serve as the chief strategist and day-to-day operations lead, responsible for executing a winning campaign plan. This is an ideal opportunity for a proven state-level campaign leader ready to step into a federal race.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the campaign plan, budget, and timeline; set and track benchmarks across departments
Hire and manage staff and consultants, building a strong, accountable team culture
Oversee fundraising program, including call time, events, and finance operations
Direct voter contact strategy, including targeting, persuasion, and GOTV execution
Maintain message discipline across communications, digital, and paid media
Manage candidate schedule and ensure time is focused on highest-impact activities
Oversee vendors, compliance, and day-to-day campaign operations
Qualifications
At least 2 full cycles of campaign experience, including senior-level responsibility (e.g., Campaign Manager, Deputy, Field Director, or Finance Director)
Experience running or helping lead a state legislative, statewide, or competitive congressional campaign preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
Working knowledge of fundraising, field, and communications programs
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits and travel reimbursement available.
