Overview
We’re seeking a highly detailed Social Media Specialist to support our day-to-day social media efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and passionate about creating polished, accurate, and engaging content. You’ll play a key role in maintaining brand consistency, ensuring quality control, and helping execute social media campaigns across platforms.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media content across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
Help organize and manage digital assets (images, videos, captions).
Support the management of content calendars to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery of content across all channels.
Review and proofread posts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Monitor platforms and engage with followers to maintain a consistent and active social media presence.
Stay informed about current social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Track basic performance metrics and compile reports with attention to detail.
Qualifications / Skills
Background in marketing and communications.
Solid understanding of major social media platforms.
Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and organizational skills.
Clear written communication and ability to follow brand voice guidelines.
Willingness to learn new tools and adapt quickly.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Work Environment
This is an on-site position based in Baltic, South Dakota.
