Overview
Coastal Wealth is one of the largest MassMutual-affiliated wealth management firms in the country, with 350+ advisors across Florida and Georgia. Over the last few years we have invested heavily in brand, content, and media as core pillars of our growth, and we have built a real operation behind it: a working in-house podcast studio, an active social presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and a growing library of produced content you can see across our channels.
The infrastructure is in place. The systems are running. What we need now is an operator who can take the ball, run with it, and raise the bar.
Role
We are hiring a Social Media & Video Content Producer to own our full content lifecycle. You will lead podcast production in our in-house studio, capture event and on-location footage, edit and publish short-form video across channels, and run our brand social handles day to day. You will also bring a sharper strategic lens to what we create, how it performs, and where we go next.
This is not a build-from-scratch role. It is an operational ownership role. The equipment is here, the studio is live, the channels are active, and leadership is behind you. The drive has to come from you.
This is an owner\'s seat.
You will have the freedom to run your process and the responsibility to deliver without hand-holding. We are looking for someone who takes content seriously as a growth lever and knows how to turn ideas into finished work, fast.
Responsibilities
Video & Content Production
Run all in-studio podcast production (camera, mics, lighting, multi-camera capture, guest prep, recording sessions)
Capture on-site content at events, trainings, advisor meetings, and team moments across FL and GA
Own the full video lifecycle: footage, editing, packaging, and publishing across Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Maintain clean workflows, file management, asset delivery, and edit rounds (or direct freelancers when volume demands it)
Social Media & Channel Ownership
Own brand accounts on Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube end to end
Plan, write, and schedule posts; respond to DMs and comments; stay on top of trends
Collaborate with marketing and leadership to align content with business priorities
Track engagement and performance data, and use it to sharpen what we publish and when
Strategy & Elevation
Bring a point of view on where our content should go next, not just execute the current plan
Identify formats, series, and ideas that can compound over time and pitch them with a path to production
Partner with leadership and advisors to surface the stories worth telling
What You Bring
3 to 5 years of experience in a content, video, or social role at a brand, agency, or media operation
Strong shooting and editing chops with a portfolio that proves it
Comfortable filming solo with DSLR or mirrorless setups, audio, and lighting gear
Experience running podcast production and multi-camera capture
Proven track record managing brand social channels (not just personal accounts)
Highly organized, self-motivated, and deadline-oriented, the kind of person who sees what needs to happen and makes it happen
Nice to Have
Comfortable on camera when the moment calls for it
Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools (Later, Buffer, Sprout, etc.)
Experience directing external editors or freelancers
Financial services or professional services experience is a bonus, not required

$70,000 to $75,000 depending on experience, with room to grow as we expand our media team.
