THE·TEAM is looking for a motivated individual to join a Brands Retainer Client team supporting a global account. This position is responsible for managing various aspects of the client’s partnership portfolio and will support account team members with partnership management, project coordination, client measurement/reporting, presentations, and the implementation of timelines and budgets. The successful candidate will respond to client requests and is expected to consistently provide excellent client service, as well as represent client needs and goals to ensure partnership objectives are met.
This role will be based in Brooklyn, NY (Dumbo) with limited travel. Candidates must be willing to relocate if they are not currently based in the selected office location.
What You’ll Do
Act as a subject matter expert on all partnership creative guidelines and other activation guardrails to ensure efficient execution of all partnership marketing activities
Lead day-to-day management of select partnerships under the supervision of managers and other team members – manage the delivery of contracted assets, execute key client activation, and field incoming requests
Oversee the fulfilment of contractual partnership assets – including creative briefing, trafficking, and creative approval as required for key client activations
Support the development, planning, and implementation of partnership strategies that deliver on client objectives by performing research and analysis and recapping marketing initiatives
Work collaboratively with team members to develop and execute deck creation and report materials
Monitor media trends and changing sports landscapes to keep client executives and other team members up to date on the industry
Perform various tasks as needed by internal team members such as research, reports, daily updates, scheduling calls/meetings, notetaking, editing of materials, etc.
Take on specialized roles or projects to assist the team, such as working directly with third party vendors or partner agencies to execute client activations/programs as needed
Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities
Where applicable, handle event logistic planning, implementation, and execution
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of a bachelor's degree and previous internship experience (preferably in the sports and entertainment industry)
1-2 years’ work experience in account and project management (sports and entertainment industry preferred)
Up-to-date knowledge of the sports industry
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Capable of multi-tasking and self-managing to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
Flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Able to carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to think creatively in a team environment
Can react calmly under stressful circumstances
Comfortable with extended days or nights, especially during periods of partnership activation

Base salary range: $66,300, plus bonus potential if applicable for role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
